Boil water advisory in Cohoes lifted

The water boil advisory in Cohoes has been lifted Sunday afternoon. 

A DPW member told NewsChannel 13 all samples came back clean.

Between 2,500 and 3,000 homes in Cohoes were without water Friday. A water main valve broke in the area of 6 Berkley Avenue.

DPW crews spent Friday afternoon doing emergency work on the broken water main along Berkley Avenue after city officials were alerted to this valve break.
