Boil water advisory lifted for Gloversville

The boil water advisory has been lifted for residents in Gloversville.

The city-wide advisory went into effect early this week after a massive water main break on Tuesday. Residents were urged to conserve water for four days while the city worked to repair the break.

The Gloversville Water Department was handing out bottled water to people in need at their office on South Main Street.

As of Saturday night, residents were told their water is now safe to drink again.
