Boil water order lifted for Troy, Brunswick, North Greenbush and Poestenkill

TROY - City officials announced Saturday that the boil water order for customers affected in portions of the City of Troy, and the towns of Brunswick, North Greenbush and Poestenkill has been lifted. 

The Rensselaer County Department of Health received enough water samples to indicate no harmful bacteria are in the water system.

Customers who continue to experience pressure problems or discoloration of water are urged to contact their local water supplier.
