Brave Will Foundation donates to Children's Hospital at Albany Med

The Brave Will Foundation will make a donation to the Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center on Thursday.    

Matt and Tammy Hladun of Ballston Lake established the foundation in memory of their 6-month-old son Willem who died from a rare form of cancer. Willem would have celebrated his 11th birthday on Sunday.

The donation will benefit the Journeys Pediatric Palliative Care Program.    

Tthe Brave Will Foundation has raised more than $600,000 to help families caring for a child with a debilitating, life-threatening, or terminal condition.
