Longing to take to the road once traveled, she came up with a 'Goofy' idea - why not run in the Disney Princess Half-Marathon in Orlando. It might help her get her groove back.

The question was could she do it? It wouldn't be easy - she'd gained a little weight. There was also all those social media shamings of moms. She thought maybe she could do it.

So, with her family on her side, she found her inner Rocky Balboa and hit the bricks, in rain, sleet and snow.

On February 24, 2019, standing next to wanna-be crown wearing princesses - Brie in a tutu herself, heard the starter pistol and was finally back in her element.

Her quest to take back a little bit for herself was being videotaped by her husband, but her run across the finish line was for herself and all those moms out there - and she's got the medal to prove it.
