February 05, 2019 05:26 PM

A federal judge did not decide on Tuesday if NXIVM leader Keith Raniere experienced inhumane living conditions at a federal detention center in Brooklyn.

There will be a status conference with Raniere and his co-defendants in Brooklyn on Wednesday.

NewsChannel 13 first reported this weekend complaints from Raniere and others about frigid conditions, following a power outage.

Opening statements in the trial against Raniere and other NXIVM leaders are set for April 29.
