Pittsfield man admits to several house break-ins

A man from Pittsfield is headed back to state prison after pleading guilty to several house break-ins.

Bruce Lee Trudeau admitted Friday to breaking into a house in Pittsfield in June 2016 and assaulting a 29-year-old woman.

He also admitted to breaking into other homes in Pittsfield and in Hancock last October.

Four years ago, The Berkshire Eagle reported that Trudeau was headed to prison for eight break-ins in Pittsfield and North Adams. In one of those cases, he stole cash and rosary beads from an 82-year-old woman who was blind and deaf.
