Buffalo Chick Peas with Bleu Cheese Crumbles

Serves: 2 to 4

Total Prep & Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

14.5 oz. can chick peas or garbanzo beans, rinsed

1 cup light oil

2 – 4 oz. your favorite hot sauce

1 tbsp. granulated garlic

2 – 4 oz. butter or margarine

2 oz. crumbled bleu cheese

Procedures:

1- Heat a pan or sauce pot over medium high heat and pour in the oil and let it get hot. Meanwhile, rinse then pat dry the chick peas.

2- When the oil shimmers add the chick peas a little at a time. Cook for 3 – 5 minutes depending on how “crisp” you like them.

3-Use a slotted spoon to take peas out and place on a paper towel to drain. Then get rid of the oil in the pan and lower the heat to medium and put in the hot sauce, butter and garlic.

4- Mix until blended and the butter melts, then put your Chick Peas back in and toss or stir to cover.

5-Place on a plate or in a bowl and top with the Crumbled Bleu Cheese. So Yummy.
