Canajoharie man found innocent in murder trial

CANAJOHARIE- The verdict is not guilty in the trial of Stanley Hall from Canajoharie.    

According to his attorney, Hall was acquitted by a Montgomery County jury on charges of manslaughter and assault    


Hall and his neighbor, 63-year-old Joseph Herting, got into a fight last New Year's Eve.  It happened on the front porch of the boarding house where they lived.    

At the time, police said both men were extremely intoxicated.
