As the countdown to Christmas continues, volunteers are working hard to prepare Christmas meals at the Capital City Rescue Mission.

Volunteers are slicing, dicing, and peeling in the kitchen at the Capital City Rescue Mission in Albany.

The mission expects to feed over 3,000 guests this Christmas.

Preparations for the meal happen over a 72-hour period.

On Christmas, those who are less fortunate will be feasting on ham, yams, and countless apple pies.
