The people of the Capital Region have been working around the clock to clean up all that snow dumped on us in the past three days.

The city of Albany has declared a snow emergency, but it doesn't take effect until 8 p.m. on Tuesday. By that time, all cars in the city have to be moved to the even side of the street.

By 8 p.m. on Wednesday, cars have to be moved to the odd side. That way plows can get in and remove all of this snow that was packed in between cars.

Road conditions improved by Tuesday afternoon, but a few places were still slick, particularly when making turns - so keep that in mind as you head out.

Hear from some people shoveling out their cars, by watching the video of Emily Burkhard's story.
