Capital Region wakes up to icy, sloppy mess

Depending on where you live, the Capital Region woke up to snow, sleet or freezing rain on Saturday.

NewsChannel 13 has been checking with local sheriff's departments on road closures and accidents.

The Warren County Sheriff's Department tells NewsChannel 13 Route 418 and River Road in Thurman are closed due to flooding.

In North Troy, one person was taken to the hospital after crashing their car on New Turnpike Road near the old Leonard Hospital. There injuries are not clear at this time.

Greene County reports several accidents on the Thruway, south of Catskill.
