Three hospitalized after Schenectady crash

SCHENECTADY - Three people have been taken to the hospital after a car slammed into a row of front yards in Schenectady early Thursday.

All three were in the car and two had to be pulled out. Their conditions are unknown.

The car first hopped a curb on the 1300 block of Albany Street. It then hit a fire hydrant and two parked cars, causing one to flip on its side. It then slammed into a front porch.

The driver of the car, Joshua McMichael, has been charged with DWI and reckless driving. He's currently at the Colonie Police Department for other outstanding warrants.The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. across from Keene Elementary School. School still started on time.
