Two people hit by car in Troy

TROY - Police in Troy are still investigating a car versus pedestrian crash that sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened in the area of 6th Avenue near Glen Avenue, around 9 p.m. Sunday night.

When NewsChannel 13 got to the scene, shoes were scattered in the road and there was a car with a smashed windshield.

Police say two people were hit by one car and then taken to Albany Medical Center. We do not yet know the extent of their injuries.

Police say they have arrested the driver.
