Car plunges into Mohawk River

WATERFORD - A car plunged into the Mohawk River in Waterford on Wednesday afternoon. It happened right at the boat launch.

Waterford police tell NewsChannel 13 a woman was with her dog and thought she had put the car in park.

She got out, but it was still in gear and went right into the river.

The car was empty.

No injuries have been reported.
