Rensselaer and Albany police teamed up Thursday to retrieve a car from the Hudson River.

It was noticed by passersby late Thursday morning not far from the Livingston Avenue Bridge in Rensselaer.

No one was inside the Nissan Maxima, but it had serious front-end damage.

Officers on scene said the car had been reported stolen overnight.
