Police: Car that nearly hit child may have been from out of state

PITTSTOWN - A car that nearly hit a child getting off the bus in Pittstown may be from out of state. Police now say the vehicle may have Canadian or out of state plates.

It’s a story you saw "First on 13."

On Tuesday, a dark-colored Jeep passed the bus on Route 7, in front of Upstate Auto Sales. It went onto the shoulder, narrowly missing the young girl who was running to her father.
