Car with guns follows bus, sends Gloversville High into lockdown

GLOVERSVILLE – Things are back to normal at Gloversville High School after a gun scare sent the school into lockdown Tuesday morning.

Police received calls about a car following a school bus that may be in possession of handguns. They stopped the bus.

The car was found in the student parking lot. The three people in the car were tracked down, one of which allegedly had an Airsoft gun and a pellet gun. He told detectives he was planning on target shooting later that day.

Everyone was released to guardians after questioning.
