Man admits to attempted murder after brutal stabbing

A Troy man admits to his role in a brutal stabbing the night of St. Patrick's Day.

Carl Pugh pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

Back in March, he tried to rob a man near Dunkin' Donuts on Congress Street in Troy. When the man refused, Pugh stabbed him in the face and side and knocked out his teeth.

Pugh faces 12 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision when sentenced January 4.
