Cat survives after being hit by two cars in Grafton

GRAFTON - A cat may have used two of its nine lives.

State police say "Harley" was struck by two cars on State Route 2 in Grafton.

When the trooper arrived, the cat was lying on the shoulder of the roadway.

The drivers said that the cat ran into the roadway and was struck by one car, then thrown into the path of the second car.

The Brunswick Animal Hospital treated the cat and posted pictures of Harley on Facebook hoping to find the owner.

Harley is now home with family and is expected to fully recover.
