Are you tired of that weekly office Zoom meeting? Some adorable rescued farm animals could be the next guests at your meeting thanks to a local animal sanctuary.

The Catskill Animal Sanctuary and their sister sanctuary, Sweet Farm, have partnered with Goat-2-Meeting to provide fun and educational Zoom meetings that feature farm animals.

Goat-2-Meetings offers corporate and family Zoom tours. They range in price depending on the option.

The donations go towards caring for the rescued animals and continuing program outreach.

Established in 2001, the Catskill Animal Sanctuary has over 11 different species of animals and currently cares for over 300 animals.

The sanctuary hopes the Zoom calls and virtual tours will bring some much-needed joy to people during these difficult times.

“To suddenly have a goat appear in your budget meeting, it’s a lightness, and change of pace when things are serious and heavy right now,” said Catskill Animal Sanctuary’s Tour Programs Manager, Kaden Macguire.

The sanctuary also features its own public and private sanctuary visits on its YouTube page. Public tours can be found on their YouTube page every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 p.m. The private visits are perfect for educators looking to plan a “virtual” field trip.

The time slots for a virtual meeting, ranging in duration from 10 to 25 minutes, can be easily booked on its website

The sanctuary says it hopes to open in the summer or early fall with some proper social distancing. In the meantime, the sanctuary says it will continue to manage its 16 or more Zoom calls and tours a day.
