The US just reached a new milestone with nearly 25 percent of adults now fully vaccinated.

About 40 percent of all adults have at least one shot, and 75 percent of seniors have at least one dose, according to the CDC.

Some states have surpassed the national average. In New Mexico, South Dakota, and Alaska, more than 30 percent of adults are fully vaccinated.

President Biden has said all adults should be eligible across the country by April 19. All New Yorkers 16 and up can now sign up for the vaccine.
