CDTA to give veterans half-off bus fare

CDTA is giving veterans a break on bus fare. 

The transportation company announced Tuesday that vets will only have to pay a half-fare to use CDTA. CEO Carm Basile says they're swallowing the loss to give back to those who served.

The discount is expected to last at least a year. In order to get it, veterans will need a CDTA Veteran ID. They’ll have to go to main offices to get one.
