Albany police investigating two robberies in Center Square neighborhood

Albany police are investigating two separate robberies in the city.    

They both happened on Tuesday night around 10 p.m. in the Center Square neighborhood.    


Police say the first was reported in the area of Lark Street and Lancaster Street.    

A male victim told police that he was approached by three men who displayed a handgun and took off with his wallet.    

The second robbery was reported in the area of Hudson Avenue and Willett Street.   

A female victim told officers three men with what appeared to be a handgun demanded her cell phone.    

She complied and the suspects took off.    

No one was injured in either incident.
