A judge has dismissed charges against the man police say orchestrated a double murder last year.
State Supreme Court Justice Andrew Ceresia says the Rensselaer County District Attorney's office had insufficient evidence to charge Cresencio Salazar in the killings of Christian Hernandez and Javier Gomez.
Last October, Gomez was found stabbed to death in a Troy apartment.
Hernandez's body was found the next day in Cropseyville.
