Chris Brunner was a reporter at WAST (now WNYT) in 1980 when the Winter Olympics came to Lake Placid. He was part of the crew that covered the games — and he brought his own Super 8mm home movie camera. 

Here’s his perspective on what he calls “one of the best assignments I ever got.”
