ALBANY – Many neighborhoods across the Capital Region were blanketed in snow by Sunday morning.

Main roads in Albany's downtown appeared to be plowed well. There was more snow on the side streets.

"I was surprised that they actually have done some plowing and they're doing plowing right now. I see them moving all around this area and the sidewalks are still kind of clogged up with snow, but the roads seem okay if you're very careful," said Marc Sopper of Albany, who is a nurse Albany Med.

Albany Fire Department says there's over 500 miles of streets in the city of Albany that will need to be plowed.
