After two weeks of waiting, it appears Paula Mahan has won a seventh, two-year term as Colonie town supervisor.

Republican election lawyers for opponent George Scaringe ceased objections on Tuesday afternoon, essentially conceding the race to the incumbent. Not long after, Mahan was declared the winner.

Mahan held a very narrow 62 vote margin over Scaringe after Election Day. Absentee ballots were being counted on Tuesday.
