Columbia County OTB employee accused of ripping off betting parlor

An OTB employee in Columbia County is accused of ripping off the betting parlor.

Peter Dimitropolis, 63, is charged.

Late last year, an auditor found money missing at the New Lebanon OTB branch.

Police say Dimitropolis admitted to making bets while on the clock and not paying for them. Investigators say he also falsified reports to try and hide the missing $9,500.
