Son accused of shooting dad in Columbia County

STOCKPORT - A man in Columbia County is accused of shooting his dad.

Timothy Johnson, 23, is now charged with reckless endangerment.

The shooting happened at 33B Pats Lane in Stockport around 5:30 Sunday evening. Police say they found a 7mm.-08 caliber long rifle in the home that they think was used.

The father was taken to Albany Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his pelvic area. At last check, he was in stable condition.

Johnson is due back in court on Friday.
