Another Capital Region BOCES student is competing to be the best in New York.

Connor Fancher from Cobleskill-Richmondville is a senior in the welding and metal fabrication program.  He just finished up a metal bull skull he will enter in the SkillsUSA state competition at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

He was inspired by his work on the family farm.

Dozens of other Capital Region BOCES students are competing for a state title this week.
