Corning Museum of Glass brings vessel to Riverfront Park

TROY  - A vessel known as the Glass Barge has docked at Riverfront Park in Troy.

The Corning Museum of Glass is bringing the barge up the Hudson, across the Erie Canal to Buffalo, and then it will make its way back to the Finger Lakes, and over land to Corning.

It's a four month journey to celebrate the biggest glass museum in the world and New York’s waterways.

There will be free glassblowing demonstrations on the barge from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

The tours will continue on Saturday and Sunday when the barge docks in Waterford. For additional stops, click here.
