New York has its lowest number of COVID-19 hospitalizations since the beginning of the outbreak. Gov. Cuomo delivered that news during a conference call Friday morning.

The governor also says 14 more New Yorkers died from the coronavirus.

Five regions of the state began Phase 4 of his re-opening plan on Friday. That includes the Mohawk Valley.

Phase 4 means museums, zoos, and aquariums can re-open along with higher education and movie production. It does not include malls, movie theaters or fitness centers.

The Capital Region is expected to enter Phase 4 on July 1.
