Gov. Cuomo is lifting most yellow and orange restrictions in the state.
He made the announcement amid lower hospitalization and positivity rates statewide.
The restrictions still remain in place in some downstate areas.
There is still no decision on indoor dining in New York City, but it could soon resume at 25%.
As of the numbers, Gov. Cuomo says 5.44% of tests came back positive on Tuesday.
More than 8,700 people are in the hospital.
Sadly, another 170 people with the virus died.
You can watch Gov. Cuomo's full briefing here.

He says hearing Dr. Fauci say UK strain could overtake original strain by March is concerning because it means we could see cases soar again. Cuomo says we can only make decisions based on the facts we have today, if the strains come up with new set of facts then we will adjust.

@NYGovCuomo says we could probably vaccinate all of NY in a month, but we'll never get that level of supply. Says we're looking at 6-9 months at this rate. Going to start rebuilding the economy now, with changes in place to reflect new, permanent "Covid landscape."
