New York state's coronavirus positivity rate is 1.15%.
Gov. Cuomo released the latest numbers on Friday.
The governor says hospitalizations are also up 37 to a total of 1,023. However, the governor also noted nearly half of daily hospital admissions over the past two weeks are from micro-cluster areas in Brooklyn, Queens, Rockland, Orange, and counties bordering Pennsylvania.
In the Capital Region, the positivity rate rose from 0.9% on Wednesday to 1.0% on Thursday.
In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 0.6% on Wednesday to 1.0% on Thursday.
Unfortunately, another 11 people across the state died, including one person from Albany County.
