More states have been added to the 14-day quarantine travel advisory.

Gov. Cuomo added California Tuesday. Massachusetts technically also qualifies, but because it borders New York, travel is just discouraged there.

More than 40 states and territories now qualify for the list.

New York state’s positivity rate is 1.78% with the focus zones included, and 1.53% without them.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate dropped from 1.5% Sunday to 1.3% Monday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 0.7% Sunday to 1.1% on Monday.

Unfortunately, another 15 people died, including one person from Oneida County in the Mohawk Valley.
