GUILDERLAND - Plans to bring a Costco to Guilderland are moving forward.
The public comment period is now open. This as town officials confirm they received an application for a light pole height variance on the proposed property near Crossgates on Thursday morning.
Illuminating the site for vehicle and pedestrian safety will now comply with zoning laws. This includes 90-degree cut off style luminaries to keep light from emanating above the fixtures.
The planning board has set a public hearing for March 11 at 6 p.m.
