Kinderhook couple are accused of using counterfeit money

Two people from Kinderhook are accused of using counterfeit money at the Cumberland Farms in Stockport and the Wal-Mart in Greenport.

32 year old Christopher Stevens and 26 year old Julia Wojkowski are charged with possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

When State Police stopped the couple Thursday outside the Wal-mart, they found six counterfeit twenty dollar bills, five sheets of paper printed with fake twenties - along with amphetamines and Suboxone.
