NEW SCOTLAND - Two people were sent to the hospital after an early morning crash in the town of New Scotland.

The crash involved the release of hazardous materials. It happened just before 6 a.m. Friday.

Sheriff's deputies received a call that a construction truck towing a trailer had rolled over on Call Hill Road.

It was also reported that propane was leaking from a 100-pound tank.

The crash happened on a sharp curve on a steep hill.

The two construction workers in the truck suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash appears to be brake failure.
