Schaghticoke crash leaves two people dead

State police have released the names of the people killed in a head-on crash that closed down a portion of Route 67 in Schaghticoke Friday morning.

The crash happened a little before 7 a.m. on Route 67 near Muriel Lane.


NewsChannel 13 is told 44-year-old Daniel Taber of Hoosick Falls, who was the driver of one of the cars, and his passenger, 41-year-old Michael Foster, also of Hoosick Falls, were killed.

A third victim from the other car, 49-year-old Paul Demarco of Mechanicville, was airlifted to Albany Med with life-threatening injuries.
