Teen in critical condition after Copake crash

COPAKE - A teenager from Copake is in critical condition at Albany Medical Center after a crash in Copake.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Department says Jessica Spencer was trying to turn around on State Route 23. Her Buick was hit by a Ford Explorer, driven by Amanda Baird of Hillsdale. Spencer's vehicle left the highway and rolled over.

She was removed from the wreckage by the Craryville Fire Department using the Jaws of Life.

Baird was treated at Columbia Memorial Hospital and released.
