Sleepy driver blamed in fiery Albany County crash

A Greene County woman crashed into a tractor trailer, causing it to catch fire. Investigators think she fell asleep at the wheel.

It happened on State Route 32 near the Coeymans-Westerlo line around 8:45 Monday morning.

Both drivers safely got out.

The road was closed for several hours.

The driver of the car was ticketed and taken to Albany Med for non-life threatening injuries.
