Guilderland crash leaves five people hurt

GUILDERLAND - Five people were hurt in a two-car crash in Guilderland.

It happened Wednesday night at the intersection of Western Avenue and Winding Brook Drive.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was driving with four passengers, ages 37, 17, 16, and 11.

Police say she made a left turn into the car driven by a 17-year-old man. All suffered minor injuries.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
