Cohoes attorney accused of selling heroin takes plea deal

A Cohoes attorney accused of selling heroin has taken a plea deal.

As NewsChannel 13 reported last August, investigators found 38 bags of heroin, 20 strips of Suboxone as well as Xanax, oxycodone and amphetamine pills in Danielle Barker-Lange's home and office.

They say she was driving with a suspended license after a previous DWAI conviction.

Now, NewsChannel 13 has learned she struck a deal on Wednesday with prosecutors that keeps her out of jail.

She pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count.

City Court says she's sentenced to three years’ probation, 60 hours of community service and gets to keep her law license.
