The former director of the Lake George Watershed Coalition turns down a deal and now faces decades behind bars.
David Decker turned down a plea deal offer in Warren County Court. He is accused of stealing more than $440,000 from the organization.
The deal would have sent him to prison five to 15 years, in exchange for a guilty plea and full restitution.
Decker turned it down, despite the judge's warning that he could face decades in prison if convicted.
