"Horrified. It's horrific, unimaginable and a complete shock," said The Willows owner, Mary Chris Dennett.

Both victims were female and under 11. One girl told her parents outright while the second girl's parent had suspicions and asked questions and then the girl came forward.

"My family plus all the families in my care, are trying to process what happened and transpired...I'm getting full support from the families in my care," added Dennett.

According to the Warren County sheriff, Saladin confessed to some of the acts during questioning.  If convicted, he faces five to seven years in prison for each charge.

"We need tougher laws...I am all for a law that says you are locked up for the rest of your life (so that) they can't harm any other children," explained Warren County Sheriff Bud York.

York added that the daycare - attended by about a dozen children -  is cooperating with the investigation

NewsChannel 13's Abigail Bleck asked Dennett, "Was there any inkling that something right was not occurring?" And she responded, "Absolutely not.  Absolutely not.  I have my own children in this care...(my own children are) exact same ages as the victims."

If your child has had contact with Saladin, the Warren County Sheriff's Department would like to hear from you. That number is (518) 743-2500.
