Guilderland jewelry store owner charged with stealing from customers

GUILDERLAND - Police have charged a Guilderland jewelry store owner with stealing from customers.

David Sellie owns David's Unique Jewelers on Western Avenue in Guilderland.

Police tell NewsChannel 13 several people complained to them that Sellie wasn't returning their jewelry after they turned it in for repair. He's charged with three counts of grand larceny.

Police say since they announced David Sellie's arrest, nearly a dozen new complaints have come in -- and there could be additional charges.

Anyone who thinks they're a victim should call Guilderland police.
