LATHAM - A Troy man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Latham.

Colonie police say 33-year-old Jacob Adams crashed into a pole at Troy-Schenectady Road and Sylvan Avenue around 9 p.m. Sunday. He died at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but a witness tells police the motorcycle was going fast.
