There are new calls for charges to be dismissed in the Schoharie limo crash case.

Limo company operator Nauman Hussain's defense team responded to a motion from the prosecution on Friday. The defense says the responsibility of the crash should fall on Mavis Tire, the company that did work on the stretch limo.

The Schoharie County District Attorney recently argued Hussain was aware of issues with the limo and failed to have it properly inspected and maintained.

NewsChannel 13 contacted Mavis Tire. They declined to comment for this story.
