December 13, 2018 07:18 PM

THURMAN - A teenage girl is facing charges, accused of allowing a perfectly healthy dog to starve to death.

Investigators say the pit bull mix was found dead on the front porch of a home on Glen Athol Road in Thurman. They say it was freezing cold and weighed 10 pounds – or 50 pounds less than it would when healthy.

Investigators say 17-year-old Destiny Bradway moved out of the home in early November. She says she was returning from time to time to feed him, but authorities aren't buying that.

Bradley is charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty. NewsChannel 13 is told she's been living with her mother and young daughter.
